Microsoft Dynamics Retail Management System (RMS) Verifone Integration

Microsoft Dynamics Retail Management System (RMS) offers retailers a powerful point-of-sale (POS) system that can be adapted to meet unique retail needs. Verifone provides advanced payment terminals that are multi-application, handle advanced EMV and debit transactions, and implement PCI security and data integrity requirements. Connecting the two together creates a powerful, flexible and secure solution for retailers. PCI compliance is ensured by keeping all sensitive transaction data on the Verifone terminal.

Dinamikos has implemented an RMS plug-in that allows seamless payment integration with Verifone Omni and Vx terminals. The plug-in works with all RMS versions including 2.0. It utilizes the certified Verifone ECRI terminal application as an interface to the Verifone SoftPay payment application. Verifone SoftPay is certified with all major processors including Chase Paymentech, Global Payments, FDMS and many more.

The solution has been deployed nationally with both Verifone Vx570 and Verifone Vx810 terminals. A recent enhancement also supports Gift Card Activation and Gift Card Issuance transactions in addition to the tender support. Tender support includes Credit, Debit and Gift transactions for both Sales and Refunds. Transaction information such as the masked card number, card type and authorization code are available in RMS for both receipts and reporting.
